No More "Red Rings of Death" for Xbox?

18 Jun

The smaller Xbox 360 250 GB Elite models cannot physically display the “red ring of death,” according to a system specification sheet. Why is that, you ask? Because if (when) one of these new consoles experiences technical issues, it will display green lights instead. Sounds like Micorsoft didn’t care for the famous nickname that caused an uproar when the Xbox 360 first launched. So a green ring of light will be used to alert us when it’s time to phone up Xbox customer support. I wonder who is going to come up with the clever new catch phrase to go along witht the new design choice. Anyone have any cool ideas?!
